New By-law amendments ....... TPA By-laws

In order to function as effectively as possible, the association’s By-Laws provide the Board of Directors consisting of a minimum of nine members, one-third of whom will be elected at each annual meeting. Terms of office on this board are for three years. Officers, who must also be Directors, are: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Clerk.
There are three working committies charged with the responsibility for carrying out the functions of the association. These are:


 The Dam Committee- Which will maintain the water levels of Torsey Pond according to the requirements of the Cobbossee Watershed District and maintain the appropriate condition of the dam boards.


 The Water Quality Committee- which will periodically test aspects of the water quality of Torsey Pond under the supervision of the Cobbossee Watershed District and using its equipment.


 The Loon and Wildlife Committee- which will conduct the annual loon Count in conjunction with the Maine Audubon Society and provide the means to educate our members and all residents on the pond about the various forms of animal, fish, and bird life that can be found in and around Torsey Pond as well as the measures that can be taken to provide for their safety, growth and existence as significant elements of Torsey Pond.
